Andy began Martial Arts at Kando Martial Arts at the age of 12 after being bullied by some older children. Over 19 years of training in the junior program and then with the Teen & Adult class, Martial Arts gave him the confidence to grow the person he has now become.
Andy is an experienced Martial Artist. He currently holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Kando, as well as a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has also trained in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling for 6 years with Team Takedown and Coach Chris Shen. He has also had experience training in Boxing, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts.
He has studied Exercise and Sports Science from Victoria University and holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
Andy knows that continuing to train in both Martial Arts and other aspects of life is very important to keep a balanced life and to continue to grow.

Bear Cave BJJ Knox operates out of the Kando Martial Arts centre on Wadhurst Drive, Boronia. Just off Lewis Rd, in behind Knox City Shopping Centre.
We believe that good people foster good training and good community. For this reason we have found a home with the Kando Martial Arts Community.
We work closely with the team to create an engaging, complimentary and comprehensive training environment for all members.
